My Contributions

This project was a graduation project made in a small team with 3 other programmers and 5 artists.
I was responsible for UI programming, enemy spawning and scaling, balancing of the game, animation scripting, visual FX scripting, camera movement, player data, unlocks and saving progression.

Project Info

For my graduation I got to make a game for a famous DJ by the name of Don Diablo. His music had to be a key element in the game and we made sure it would be. Tower Beats is a strategic Tower Defense game in which the towers react to the music. There are 3 different types of towers : Bass, Drum and Vocals/Guitar (not all songs have vocals just like not all songs have guitars so we combined these).

Each tower respond to the volume and frequencies of those tracks inside a song and every level has multiple songs to go through this means that players have to adjust their tower setup in strategic ways to survive several waves of enemies.
