My Contributions

During the development of Ikaro I worked on various areas including animation coding, the player rating system, creating various tools for the art and design teams and I also had a hand in some of the combat.

However I mainly specialized in the progression systems (upgrades, shops etc) and UI.

Project Info

Ikaro was a high-action roguelike game that focused on fast mobility, explosive combat and constant progression.
When I started my job at Futurlab I joined the Ikaro team and worked on several different sections of the game to learn about the codebase before starting to specialize in UI, tools and progression systems.
Unfortunately as close as we were to getting to a complete state, the project was ultimately cancelled.
