Jewel of the Dragon King Progress - April
After getting back in the flow in March I've kicked it up a few notches, things I've been working on include:
- UI polish, panels related to interactables in the world will now close when the player moves out of range
- Created the basics of a lockpicking minigame
- Fixed enemy animations
- Fixed enemy AI behaviour
- Added several types of secrets to promote exploring for the player
- Added up and down camera movement so the player has more freedom to look around
- Various visual improvements like visual feedback when the player gets damaged, a death animation for the player and more!
- Added a system that allows items in the players inventory to be selected to use on interactable objects
- And much more, too much to put here
I haven't been the only one hard at work, Sean our artist has been working on populating the first level with more enemies and polishing it visually while Marc our narrative writer has been working on implementing more dialogue!
